Mind If I Trick Your Eyes?

The Experiment

I’d like to teach you something else about the way you see (actually, multiple somethings if you listen carefully to my ramblings in the video below). The video I’ve created below is designed to open your eyes to yet another interesting aspect about how your eyes process information. Click on the video below, set it to full screen and follow along! When you’re done watching, continue into the results section below.

Glad you enjoyed it! It actually turns out that laughter is a great way to learn, by the way, as it tends to seal in the moment really well.

Interesting. I was not in the higher bracket but then I guess I need a new set of eyes – lol

Ha! no worries Alan. There is no right or wrong. You found it interesting, then you got what I intended for you to get out of it 🙂

You know, I only have one eye that sees up close and one that sees distance. And my up close eye is crossed. So it took me along time to realize what was happening. It was fun–I thought something was happening to the background but wasn’t sure if it was real or my crazy eyes.

Well having an art background helped me notice rather quickly. That was fun!
Now if it had been a math quiz, I would have been in trouble.

I suspect art and photography background folk may detect it earlier than people that don’t spend a lot of time obsessing over what’s in front of them! ha ha.
